Greetings and salutations
I done it. This is my site. My name is Tom Skiens. I live in Rural Eastern Oregon . This site is dedicated to the memory of LZ Buf. I will not try to sell you anything, thats what stores are for. I will not ask for money to build a memorial fund. I will not attempt to put my hands in your pocket and I will not tell you what to think about God or what to feel about traumatic events and death. The goal of this site is to provide information so you can make up your own mind. In that light, I give credit to the people who have stepped up to be a great resource in this search for information.

Les Hines- Mr Hines is the Vietnam Historian for the America Division veterans Assoc. He is an invaluable resource in the quest for information.

Richard Coffelt- Mr. Coffelt is a Korean war veteran recently recognized at the natiomal archives for his work in developing lists of
fatalities by Company. His work is respected and trusted by a broad spectrum of American military families.

Bruce Flaherty- A Delta Company, 68-69 Grunt who has set up a shoestring budget base camp at the national Archives resulting in the amassing of Thousands of pages of staff journals, Operations orders plus Battalion and Brigade TOC reports. Bruce still knows how to sacrifice for the good of all.

Daniel Beherns- Daniel is the brother of a 1969 Delta Company Fatality. Mr. Beherns is responsible for organizing the first two Delta
Company reunions. Recently I understand he has made himself familiar at the national Archives.

Ron Chura- Mr. Chura is a Charlie Company Veteran from 1968. Ron has provided well over 100 pages of national Archive documents
involving operations: Vernon Lake 1, Vernon Lake 11, Show Low, Muscatine and Champaign Grove. I imagine a breeze that whispers a vision
of Ron unable to find the walls of his basement bunker because they are covered with maps.

I Salute you all in this very public way. Carry on gentlemen. Respectfully, Tom Skiens.
