FROM THE PUBLISHER
Suppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence - questions about love and faith, life and death, good and evil. Suppose God provided clear, understandable answers. It happened to Neale Donald Walsch. It can happen to you. You are about to have a conversation... I have heard the crying of your heart. I have seen the searching of your soul. I know how deeply you have desired the Truth. In pain have you called out for it, and in joy. Unendingly have you beseeched Me. Show Myself. Explain Myself. Reveal Myself. I am doing so here, in terms so plain, you cannot misunderstand. In language so simple, you cannot be confused. In vocabulary so common, you cannot get lost in the verbiage. So go ahead now. Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout; this book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear - all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you then that I have always been there. All ways.

A Star for creativity
Obviously, the folks who believe that the author actually had a conversation with God, have a very strange concept of who God really is. I think that the book should be retitled with a small g for god. If he really did have a conversation with God, His responses would have been much different. I don't know what god he talked to.

Could YOU answer the questions as eloquently?
I personally find it difficult to side with those who say that Mr. Walsch 'made up' his conversations with God. As someone who has studied philosophy extensively, I marveled at 'God's answers' because they are so eloquently stated, yet simply understood. I cannot imagine an individual with the ability to answer Mr. Walsch's questions with the intelligence and breath-taking synergy from one question to the next. Yes, I was skeptical at first. But, the 'answers' absolutely convince me that Mr. Walsch did indeed have a series of conversations with God. I defy any human being to make up something as full of wisdom as is this book WITHOUT input from God. You just can't make this stuff up. The source is clearly a Higher Being, i.e., God. This is one of the most incredible books ever written and must be read slowly in order to absorb its contents. As so many have said, it is a life-changing experience to have read this book and then, more importantly, to apply it to your own life. Furthermore, the 'answers' expose the fallicies inherent in the rules perpetuated by organized religion, be it Presbyterianism, Catholicism, Buddhism, or whatever. Where did these 'rules' come from? Not God, that's for sure - they came from free will imposed on the masses by virtue of their fear and ignorance and/or the strength of the messenger. Read this book.

Remembering your own knowledge
Powerful! I have noticed that people have second thoughts when they hear the title, as they associated certain organized religions with the word 'god'. I usually recommend to make up a different word for 'god' if they wish and enjoy the wisdom of this masterpiece. You will discover the beauty of remembering what you already know.

Who Do You Want to Be?
Given the massive amount of wisdom found within this book about how to tap into the massive amount of wisdom and potential within ourselves, I must contend that this is quite possibly the most important 'peace' of literary work I have ever read in my life. I recommend this book almost on a daily basis and hope that the ones who here of it will be receptive to the power and wisdom they will eventually realize they possess themselves.

confusing but inspiring!!!
when i first read this book,CwG Book 1, i was surprised in the content. it is so much related w/ my own experiences b4. i had too many questions too when i was in high school but i just ignored it coz i think, its just a waste of time asking those and besides who can answer me anyway, right? then here comes the book with an enchanting and interesting title. upon reading it, it answers almost all of my questions i abandoned. as of now, i am still searching. this book is only recommended to those who are open-minded bcoz this might be dangerous if you are a religious Roman Catholic.
