A platoon size element at BATO was ambushed. Of the 37 men only 13 have returned. upon contact the platoon scattered. Survivors returned between
1800H and 2100H. The PRC-25 was captured.

Message from BATO: Referance engagement on 12 Feb. Reaction force of 89 persons departed at 0845H, at 0900 all returned except 17 CIDG which
were listed as MIA. CIDG was engaged or ambushed by approx a battalion. The CIDG did capture 1 female POW.

Message from BATO; 13 of 17 MIA from CIDG have returned to base camp. Two are slightly wounded, 4 are still MIA.
